Our Dental Wellness Savings Program is designed to provide affordability and greater access to quality dental care. It’s River Run Dental’s in-house membership plan for patients paying without dental insurance, whether that’s self-pay, cash-pay, or just being between jobs. For $450 a year you get two cleanings, your exams, your x-rays, two fluoride treatments and an oral cancer screening at no additional cost, plus 15% off most other treatment. You’re eligible the day you enroll, with no waiting periods, no yearly maximums, no deductibles, no claim forms and no pre-authorizations.
It’s a discount plan, not dental insurance, and it can’t be used together with dental insurance.

The more care you need in a year, the further the membership goes. And there’s no yearly maximum, so the discount doesn’t run out partway through the year.

Lab fees aren’t discounted under the Dental Wellness Savings Program. Invisalign member savings can’t be combined with other promotions.
Patients diagnosed with periodontal disease don’t qualify to use the two included cleanings that come with this plan. Periodontal maintenance is discounted 50% instead, and active therapy, including root planing and scaling, is discounted 15%.

How payment works
- The membership fee is paid in full when you enroll
- The membership fee isn’t eligible for office financing
- The membership fee is non-refundable
- Your membership is valid for 365 days from the date you enroll
- Treatment that isn’t included at 100% may be eligible for financing
- Your portion of the bill is due the day of service
There’s no membership card to carry. Your plan information stays on file at our office.
Program Rules and Limitations
River Run Dental’s Dental Wellness Savings Program is a discount plan. It is not dental insurance and cannot be used in conjunction with dental insurance.
The program cannot be used for:
- Treatment that is performed outside of our office
- Services covered under workers compensation
- Referrals to specialists
Patients diagnosed with periodontal disease do not qualify to use the 2 included prophys (cleanings) included with this plan.
This plan is only honored at River Run Dental and is valid for 365 days from the date of enrollment.
The benefit premium, referred to elsewhere on this page as the membership fee, is non-refundable. It is the responsibility of the patient to utilize benefits available under the savings plan.
Lab fees are not discounted under the Dental Wellness Savings Program.
Invisalign member savings cannot be combined with other promotions.

Is this dental insurance?
No. River Run’s Dental’s Dental Wellness Savings Program is a discount plan. It isn’t dental insurance.
Can I use it alongside my dental insurance?
No. The program can’t be used in conjunction with dental insurance. If you have coverage, contact us and we’ll help you compare the two before you decide.
When do my benefits start?
Right away. There are no waiting periods. You’re eligible the day you enroll.
How much does it cost?
$450 a year for a single membership and $850 a year for a dual membership. Each additional family member after the first two is $450 per person.
Who qualifies for a dual membership?
A parent and child, spouses, or cohabitants of the same physical address.
What's actually included?
Your comprehensive exam as a new patient. Two periodic exams a year once you’re an existing patient. One limited exam a year if something specific is bothering you. Bitewing and periapical x-rays once a year, and a Panorex every five years. Two cleanings a year. One VELscope oral cancer screening a year. Two fluoride treatments a year. All of it discounted 100%.
What's the discount on everything else?
15% on most treatment, including fillings and core buildups, crowns and bridges, implants, dentures and partials, root canals, extractions, sealants, and root planing and scaling. Periodontal maintenance is 50% off. In-office professional whitening is $50 off. Invisalign is $1,000 off, and that one can’t be combined with other promotions.
Are lab fees discounted?
No. Lab fees aren’t discounted under the Dental Wellness Savings Program.
I have gum disease. Do I still get the two cleanings?
No. Patients diagnosed with periodontal disease don’t qualify to use the two included cleanings. Periodontal maintenance is discounted 50% instead, and active therapy including root planing and scaling is discounted 15%. Contact us before you enroll if you’re not sure whether this applies to you.
Is there a yearly maximum?
No. There are no yearly maximums, no deductibles, no claim forms and no pre-authorization requirements.
How long does my membership last?
365 days from the date you enroll.
Can I get a refund if I don't end up using it?
No. The membership fee is non-refundable. It’s the responsibility of the patient to use the benefits available under the savings plan.
Can I pay for the membership monthly?
No. The membership fee is paid in full and isn’t eligible for office financing. Treatment that isn’t included at 100% may be eligible for financing.
Do I get a membership card?
No. There’s no card to carry. Your plan information stays on file with our office.
Can I use it at another dental office?
No. The plan is only honored at River Run Dental. It can’t be used for treatment performed outside of our offices.
What if I need to see a specialist?
The program can’t be used for a referral out to a practice that isn’t ours. Endodontic and periodontal care is provided within our own offices, and root canals, periodontal maintenance, root planing and scaling and implants all carry member discounts. If your care ever does need to go elsewhere, we’ll tell you before you’re committed to anything.
What happens when my 365 days are up?
Your membership is valid for 365 days from the date you enroll. Give us a call when you’re coming up on the end of your year and we’ll take care of renewing it.
What if my treatment falls under workers compensation?
The program can’t be used for services covered under workers compensation.
When do I pay for treatment?
Your portion of the bill is due the day of service.
